It's a new adventure
The new design features an unprecedented hull-to-deck connection, accompanied by a continuous stopreling. Such a concept will undoubtedly increase the safety of moving around the yacht and provide additional structural reinforcement. In the Maxus 26 we encounter an interesting descent design, similar to that used on typical offshore yachts. The vertical sternclap has been moved forward and placed between the two rear walls of the superstructure, with the upper sternclap, when closed, clearly extending behind the sternclap. Thanks to this type of solution, it was possible to enlarge the cockpit, but also to protect the interior of the yacht from getting splashes of water and rain.
The equipment on deck has been arranged in an optimal way for this size of yacht. The deck, on the other hand, has been designed so that anything a discerning sailor might deem appropriate can be installed without problems, including additional halyard locks, electronics, a sprit, a self-halting jib rail, or additional sail adjustments.
Body versions with 5+1 and 6+2 berth arrangements are planned. Aft and forward cabins optionally lockable and various galley versions. Engine options: pantograph-mounted outboard engine or stationary engine.
Already at the time of its premiere, the yacht won the Gold Medal of the 16th Boatshow Sailing and Water Sports Fair and the title of Champion Yachting 2015.
